1.What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, modern sites also use your browser’s local storage and session storage to remember information. Together these let a site keep you signed in, remember your cart, stay secure, and — with your permission — understand how the site is used.

This Cookie Policy explains what QFountains stores on your device, why, and how you can control it. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2.The categories we use

Essential (always on)

These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They keep your session secure, protect forms against attack (CSRF), remember your shopping cart, and store your cookie consent choice. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require consent.

Functional (optional)

These improve your experience but are not essential. For example, the qf_visitor_id identifier keeps your cart, wishlist, and session continuous across visits. They are only used if you allow functional storage.

Analytics (optional)

These help us understand how visitors use the site through first party, aggregate page views so we can improve it. Analytics only runs after you consent — no analytics page views are sent until you opt in.

We do not use third party advertising or cross site tracking cookies. Our analytics are first party only.

4.Third party processing

Some features rely on trusted providers that may process data when you use them. For example, our site is delivered by our hosting provider. These services are described further in our Privacy Policy.

5.Managing your preferences

You are in control. When you first visit, our consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences for functional and analytics storage separately. You can change your decision at any time using the button below.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the site — such as sign in and the shopping cart — from working correctly.

Most browsers let you clear stored cookies and local storage in their privacy settings.
You can set your browser to warn you before storing cookies, or to refuse them.
Clearing site data will also remove your saved consent choice.
