What we store on your device, why, and how to control it ... with essential cookies for security and your cart, and optional storage you decide on.
Qatar Fountains uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Essential ones keep the site secure and your cart working; functional and analytics storage are optional and only used with your consent.
You can review or change your choices at any time from the “Managing your preferences” section below.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, modern sites also use your browser’s local storage and session storage to remember information. Together these let a site keep you signed in, remember your cart, stay secure, and ... with your permission ... understand how the site is used.
This Cookie Policy explains what Qatar Fountains stores on your device, why, and how you can control it. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They keep your session secure, protect forms against attack (CSRF), remember your shopping cart, and store your cookie consent choice. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require consent.
These improve your experience but are not essential. For example, the qf_visitor_id identifier keeps your AI chat assistant history available on your own device. They are only used if you allow functional storage.
These help us understand how visitors use the site through first party, aggregate page views so we can improve it. Analytics only runs after you consent ... no analytics page views are sent until you opt in.
The table below lists the main items Qatar Fountains may store on your device, what each is for, and how long it lasts.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Storage | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
session | Essential | Keeps you signed in to the client portal and admin areas and maintains a secure session. | Cookie | Session / sign in period |
CSRF token | Essential | Protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery attacks. | Cookie | Session |
cart | Essential | Remembers the products you have added to your shopping cart so checkout works. | Cookie / local storage | Up to 30 days |
qf_cookie_consent | Essential | Stores your cookie consent choice so we only load optional storage you have allowed. | Local storage | Up to 12 months |
qf_visitor_id | Functional | A first party visitor identifier that keeps your AI chat assistant history on your own device. | Local storage | Persistent until cleared |
qf_analytics_session | Analytics | An anonymous session identifier used to group first party page views for the current visit. | Session storage | Session |
We do not use third party advertising or cross site tracking cookies. Our analytics are first party only.
Some features rely on trusted providers that may process data when you use them. For example, our AI chat assistant sends your messages to OpenRouter (and the underlying model providers it routes to) to generate replies, and our site is delivered by our hosting provider. These services are described further in our Privacy Policy.
You are in control. When you first visit, our consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences for functional and analytics storage separately. You can change your decision at any time using the button below.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the site ... such as sign in and the shopping cart ... from working correctly.
